Power up your practice
Register now to attend the Victorian Homelessness Conference #CHPConf2017

I am delighted to invite you join us this September as we commence two days of talking solutions at the Victorian Homelessness Conference.

Power up your practice by connecting with thought leaders, looking at international achievements and sharing our homegrown successes in tackling homelessness.

Whether you’re interested in youth homelessness, housing first approaches, Aboriginal homelessness, care-leavers, trauma-informed care or evidence-based practices from abroad, there will be something for everyone. Register now to take advantage of the Early Bird conference rates, or subscribe for conference email updates here.

With a host of speakers from Victoria, interstate and overseas, and a breadth of topics, the event will appeal to practitioners, researchers, policy makers and managers from the homelessness and allied sectors.

We are thrilled to announce that the conference keynote speaker is Professor Eoin O’Sullivan from Trinity College Dublin, a leading academic on homelessness in Europe, and editor of the European Journal on Homelessness. His particular experience relates to housing led approaches to ending homelessness, and to ending homelessness for young people who are experiencing more entrenched homelessness.

Victorian Homelessness Awards

As part of the conference, we’ll also be hosting the Bi-Annual Victorian Homelessness Achievement Awards, which is your chance to nominate organisations, individuals and consumers who have made an exceptional contribution to end homelessness. This is a rare opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate excellence within our own ranks. Nominations for the awards are now open. Take a look at the seven categories and start thinking about who you will nominate..

Let’s connect. Let’s look at the evidence. Let’s share our successes. Let’s talk solutions. #CHPconf2017
