Venue

The Victorian Homelessness Conference will be held at the Melbourne Town Hall.

The Melbourne Town Hall is located just a short stroll from many of the city’s restaurants, hotels and shopping areas making it easily accessed by foot or public transport. The entertainment precincts of Southbank Boulevard, Docklands and Federation Square are a pleasant ten-minute riverside stroll away.

Accessibility

Melbourne Town Hall is an accessible venue.

Lifts to the Town Hall’s Foyer and Stalls level (Level 1) can be accessed via the copper doors directly to the left of the main steps at the Swanston Street entrance.

Please note: While this lift can take patrons to Level 2, there are, however, a further six steps to reach the Balcony section. This section contains stairs between each row, often without handrails. For this reason, we do not recommend Balcony seating for patrons with limited mobility.

Bays for wheelchair and scooter users are available in the Stalls, as are other accessible seating options, including seats situated on aisles or close to entry points.

Accessible toilets are available on the Ground floor (street level).
