This award will recognise a leading practitioner in the homelessness sector. It will be awarded to an individual who is a passionate advocate for their client and leads the way in ensuring that the response offering fits the individual, rather than requiring individuals to fit available response offerings. They will have demonstrated a willingness to go the extra mile, to keep the individual at the centre of their practice and to engage clients in building their own solutions.
If you would like to nominate a practitioner for the award, please complete the form below. You are able to self-nominate in this category. Please note that from 2023, nominations from the judging panel's organisations are now eligible.
This award will be judged against the following criteria:
- Exceptional practice developing and embracing innovative service delivery and advocacy strategies
- Dedication to their role
- Placing the consumer at the centre of their practice
The nominee must have at least two years’ experience in the homelessness sector.
This form cannot be saved to complete later. Please consider copying the questions over to a Word document and drafting your answers there. You will then need to submit your answers via this form. Please note that the form will not prevent you from exceeding the word limit for each answer, and it is expected that you will monitor the length of your response.
Nominations close at 9am Monday 9 October. If you would like more information on the awards, please contact Damien Patterson, Policy and Advocacy Officer at damien@chp.org.au
