This award will recognise programs, organisations or partnerships that have made an outstanding contribution to preventing or ending homelessness among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria. This award category is open to programs, organisations or partnerships working in direct practice, research, advocacy or other supporting capacities across the community, private and philanthropic sectors. This category is not open to individuals.
You are able to self-nominate in this category. Please note that from 2023, nominations for the judging panel's organisations are now eligible.
This award will be judged against the following criteria:
- Practice leadership
- Practice innovation
- Responsiveness to particularly vulnerable consumers
- Meaningful involvement of consumers
The activity or activities for which the nominee is being recommended must have been operational for at least two years. In addition they must have taken place at some point between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022. Activities that commenced, were in progress, or were completed over this period are all eligible.
