In Australia there are over 116,000 people experiencing homelessness on any given night.
Homelessness Week is an annual event to raise awareness of the impact of homelessness in Australia via national and local community events, including providing information on the importance of housing as a solution and educating communities on how they can make a difference.
This year, Homelessness Week is taking place from 1–7 August 2022 with the theme, To end homelessness we need a plan.
In the lead-up to and during Homelessness Week, you are encouraged to get involved by supporting campaigns, attending events and sharing messages to end homelessness.
