New Membership Structure and Fees
In 2018, alongside the member portal development, CHP has also changed its membership structure.
This change, agreed at the 2015 Annual General Meeting, separates the current organisational membership category into two categories of membership for organisations, organisational membership and associate membership.
In the new membership structure, Victorian organisations receiving specialist homelessness services (SHS) funding are eligible for organisational membership, and will contribute higher CHP membership fees, based on a percentage of their SHS funding. Membership fees for organisational members will be 0.02% of government specialist homelessness funding, with a minimum of $350 (plus GST) and a maximum of $5,500 (plus GST).
Organisations who have an interest in homelessness, but who do not receive SHS funding, will now become Associate Members
Organisations which operate outside Victoria will now also become Associate Members.
Associate Members will each have one login to access the member zone, and can access all the member resources included there. Associate Members will not have voting rights at the CHP AGM or special meetings. The new Associate Member is $300+GST. Additional logins to the member zone can be purchased for colleagues for $50+GST each.
