Lead an established and highly respected peak during a time of sector evolution
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of CHP and for the implementation of CHP’s strategic plan and vision. The role exerts influence through effective partnerships, leading stakeholder engagement across government, the homelessness sector, human services and the media. The CEO guides and promotes CHP’s role in building the capacity of the Specialist Homelessness Sector workforce.
Reporting to the CHP Board, the CEO leads a dedicated and collaborative staff of around 18 people. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the role of a peak body and have exceptional and sophisticated relationship building skills and demonstrate the ability to promote collaboration across the sector.
You will be a highly respected leader from the sector or adjacent human services-related sector and support the advocacy efforts across the sector.
Demonstrated effectiveness at working in partnership with those with the lived experience of not having a home will be well received. The CEO will have well developed financial management skills and understanding of risk management and governance.
