A priority goal of the SHS Transition Plan is to Develop a SHS workforce capability framework.
The framework describes the skills, knowledge, and capabilities requires for the work of SHS practitioners, both today and into the future. The Framework identifies five domains, and sixteen sub-capabilities that enable specialist homelessness practitioners to achieve person-centred outcomes in partnership with consumers.
The key initial deliverable is the development of a SHS Workforce Capability Framework, which CHP delivered to DHHS and the sector in June 2019.
