Applications for the 2023 Jenny Smith Housing First Scholarship have now closed.
About the scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded for the purpose of pursuing an overseas investigative Housing First practice project of a kind that could not be achieved within Australia and which will advance SHS Housing First practice in Victoria.
The focus must be how housing first principles can be implemented and embedded across Victoria.
About Jenny Smith
The scholarship is named after former Council to Homeless Persons CEO Jenny Smith, who championed the adoption of evidence-based Housing First principles and practices to end homelessness in Victoria.
These principles and practices underpin Victoria’s trajectory to making homelessness are, short lived and non-recurring.
